AUD 12,000–18,000

AUD base fee

Discuss this format

Guide fees are based in AUD, before any applicable taxes, travel, and agreed extras. Other currencies are indicative conversions, not separate market prices or a binding quote. We can discuss your preferred quote currency.

Included, so you have less to organise.

A proper briefing

One organiser briefing call, a review of the event material you already have, and a clear agreement on what would make the session useful.

Prepared for your audience

The chosen keynote’s framing and examples adapted to your context, with the session length and Q&A split planned around your programme.

Help with the practical work

Programme copy, biographies, photographs, AV notes, and coordination with your event or production contact. Virtual sessions include a technical check.

Something useful afterwards

An accessible one-page summary of the key questions to share internally, plus a follow-up email for clarification. Additional research or ongoing advice is scoped separately.

For in-person events, a short book-signing or audience conversation can be included when agreed in advance. Books and delivery are quoted separately.

Start with a few lines.

  1. Tell Dave what you are planning

The audience, subject, and any date you have in mind. You do not need a finished brief or a complete set of answers.

  2. Agree the fit and the details

Dave will help settle the topic and format, then provide a clear proposal covering the fee, preparation, timings, and any extras.

  3. Confirm when you are ready

No enquiry commits you to a booking. Once the proposal and date are agreed, the usual payment schedule is a 50% deposit, with the balance 14 days before the event. Procurement requirements can be agreed upfront.

Keep the practical details clear.

Travel and unexpected costs

Travel, accommodation, and transfers are agreed in the proposal. You can request an all-in price. Additional costs or extra appearances need your approval; they are not added by surprise.

Recording and replay

An internal replay for your event audience for up to 90 days can be included when agreed in the booking. We will confirm audience and access in writing. Public clips, external distribution, resale, and broader reuse need a separate agreement.

If your plans change

Tell Dave as early as you can. One transfer of the deposit to a new date within 12 months is available, subject to availability. Any committed external costs, cancellation arrangements, and other terms are made clear in the proposal before you book.

Books, extra sessions, or a different brief

Share what would help your event. Book quantities and delivery, additional sessions, substantial new research, and broader content usage are quoted separately. We will make the options clear before you choose.

Media interviews and writing commissions

These use a separate brief. Contact Dave with your outlet, subject, audience, deadline, and format. Editorial fees and terms are agreed with the commissioning editor rather than taken from the event fee guide.
